Fundraising
COME AND GET MUDDY, DO AN OBSTACLE COURSE AND HAVE A FUN DAY, ALL WHILST RAISING MONEY FOR AN AMAZING CAUSE!
Tough Mudder comes to the Midlands on 18th May and we’re looking for businesses or friends or whoever to sign up and come JOIN US for some messy muddy fun!
There are 2 options: 5k or 8-10miles with obstacles galore. It doesn’t matter which options you choose, and you can sign up as individual, a team or a business, but all that counts is the taking part and having an excuse to act like a kid for the day 😂😁 oh and of course all the while raising money to change lives!
THE WHY? We would love to be able to buy land near one of the schools in the west of Uganda where food prices and food scarcity are a particular problem, so that they can grow food and make sure no child goes hungry…so we have a goal of £2693 to raise (to be exact!)

We will be holding fundraising events in the UK later this year, but if you would like to host your own fundraiser or do an activity to raise some money on behalf of Be The Change, we would be thrilled!
Here are some ideas from past fundraisers and some new ideas too:
- Do a mountain climb! (Our Executive Director achieved a lifelong dream to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and raised £1000 to help re-build a school in Western Uganda and also support a forest-buying project being carried out by International Animal Rescue)
- Join or organize a run or walk in your area (or somewhere you have always wanted to go.)
- A coffee morning or cake-sale
- A stall at a Christmas Fayre
- A vegan bake-off
- A boot-sale to sell all those unwanted items
Volunteering
We welcome volunteers and value the input that someone giving their time for a cause can have. For volunteer opportunities in Uganda, please get in touch.
We also have other roles that we really would appreciate assistance with, such as printing cards and information, t-shirts and merchandise, and also admin. If you can lend any time or expertise, please do let us know.
